The deal pipeline
Stages, a board and list view, and a daily list of what actually needs you.
How it works
A deal moves through Inquiry → Negotiating → Signed → Filming → Posted → Invoiced → Paid, plus a separate Lost outcome sitting outside that line. These are the stages of getting paid, not of making content, which is why “Invoiced” is a column and “Editing” isn’t.
Work it as a Board (drag a card, or tap “Move to…” on mobile) or a List (sortable columns, filter chips including one for Lost). Moving a deal to a stage that needs a date or amount it doesn’t have yet — a due date for Invoiced, a paid date for Paid — pauses for a quick prompt instead of losing that deal to the overdue-chasing cron silently.
The Requests tab auto-populates from two sources: brand DMs your Money Inbox already sorted, and Media Kit booking requests. Opening the tab imports anything new into Inquiry automatically; nothing is pre-advanced past Inquiry just because a DM was already replied to.
“Needs you today” ranks what to act on next: money already earned outranks money not yet earned, so a payment that’s overdue always beats a shoot date coming up. A healthy pipeline shows nothing here at all.
Every total is split by currency, never summed — a creator paid in ₹ and $ sees two pipelines, not one meaningless number. A deal amount that hasn’t been stated shows as “—”, never as 0.
How it flows
Set it up
- 1
- 2
Add or import a deal
Add one by hand, or open the Requests tab to pull in brand DMs and media-kit bookings that are waiting.
- 3
Move it forward as it happens
Drag it on the board, tap “Move to…”, or change the stage from the deal’s own drawer.
- 4
Check “Needs you today”
It only surfaces what’s actually urgent — an empty panel means nothing’s slipping.
Tips to get the most out of it
- Open the Requests tab regularly. A DM or booking sitting there unimported doesn’t show up in your pipeline or your “Needs you today” alerts.
- Fill in the date a stage asks for (shoot date, due date, paid date) as you go — those are exactly the fields the overdue-chasing reminders and Forecast both read.
- Use the Lost filter chip in List view once in a while. It’s the only place patterns in what doesn’t close become visible.
