Terms of Service

Last updated: June 28, 2026

These Terms are the agreement between you and knit.bio for using our website, creator dashboard, and the pages and stores we host on your behalf. Please read them carefully by creating an account or using knit.bio, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance & eligibility

By creating an account or using knit.bio, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and have legal capacity to enter this agreement.
  • Will comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it up to date.
  • Are not barred from using the service under the laws of your country or any applicable sanctions list.

2. The service

knit.bio is a link-in-bio platform. Subject to your plan, it lets you build one or more pages from drag-and-drop blocks, share links and content, collect leads, view analytics about your visitors, and sell digital and physical products. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service, and we'll aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect you.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and everything that happens under it:

  • Keep your login credentials confidential and secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at support@knit.bio of any unauthorized access or security breach.
  • You are responsible for all content you publish and for ensuring it does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • One person or entity per account unless we agree otherwise; you may not share or transfer your account without our consent.

4. Plans, billing & renewals

knit.bio offers a free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Premium). Each plan includes different limits, for example the number of pages and products you can publish, as described on our pricing page. For paid plans:

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring (monthly or annual) basis depending on the option you choose.
  • Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • If you downgrade or your plan ends, features and content above your new plan's limits may become read-only or hidden, but we won't delete your existing content for that reason alone.
  • We may change plan pricing or features; we'll give reasonable advance notice, and changes apply from your next billing period.
  • Except where required by law or expressly stated, subscription fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

5. Selling through knit.bio

If you use knit.bio to sell products, the following applies. In short: you are the seller of record for everything you sell. We provide the tools and payment infrastructure, but the sale is between you and your customer.

  • Payments via Stripe Connect. Sales are processed through Stripe. To get paid, you must connect a Stripe account and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Payouts are made by Stripe to your connected account on Stripe's schedule.
  • Fees. Stripe charges its own payment-processing fees, and knit.bio may deduct a platform fee from each sale as described on our pricing page. The remaining proceeds are transferred to your connected account.
  • Your responsibilities as seller. You are solely responsible for your products, their descriptions and pricing, fulfilment and delivery, customer service, returns and refunds, chargebacks, and for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes. You must have the right to sell what you list.
  • Digital delivery. Digital products are delivered to buyers through secure, time-limited download links. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to distribute the files you upload.
  • Buyer terms. If you purchase from a creator's page, your purchase is a contract with that creator, not with knit.bio. Questions about an order, refund, or product should be directed to the seller.

6. Your content & license

You keep ownership of the content you create and upload (your pages, text, images, files, and products), “Your Content”. To run the service, you grant us the permissions we need to host and display it:

  • You grant knit.bio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting/display), and publicly display Your Content solely to operate, provide, and promote the service.
  • You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others or violate any law.
  • This license ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, except for content already shared with others, retained in backups for a limited time, or that we must keep to meet legal obligations.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use knit.bio, or allow anyone to use it, to:

  • Break the law or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Post or sell content that is unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually exploitative, or that promotes violence.
  • Distribute spam, malware, or phishing, or run schemes that deceive your visitors or customers.
  • Sell prohibited or regulated goods you are not authorized to sell, or use the store to launder money or evade sanctions.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, probe or scrape the service, bypass plan limits or paywalls, or disrupt the platform's integrity or performance.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.

8. Third-party services

knit.bio relies on and connects to third-party services, including Stripe for payments, and any integrations you choose to enable (such as analytics, email, and advertising tools). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and connecting them is at your discretion and risk.

9. Intellectual property

knit.bio and its original content, branding, features, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no right to use our name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written permission. We respect intellectual-property rights and will respond to valid infringement notices; if you believe content on knit.bio infringes your rights, contact legal@knit.bio.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, knit.bio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless knit.bio and its team from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of Your Content, your products and sales, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

12. Termination

Either of us can end this agreement:

  • You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from your account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or use the service unlawfully.
  • We may also discontinue the service or close accounts for any reason with reasonable advance notice where practicable.
  • On termination, your right to use the service stops. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including content licenses already granted, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnities) survive.

13. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which knit.bio operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts for any dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you other rights.

We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of knit.bio after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
