A live Instagram media kit that fills itself in
knit.bio’s media kit is a public page for brands that pulls your audience, engagement and recent posts straight from Instagram, so it is always current and needs no design work. Publishing is free on every plan; Pro and Max add booking requests, a PDF download and link-click proof, and drop the knit.bio badge.
Free plan, no card needed. Instagram tools work with a Business or Creator account.
What is an Instagram media kit?
A media kit is the short profile a brand reads before deciding whether to work with you: who you are, who follows you, how your content performs, what you charge and who you have worked with. Most creators build one in a design tool, and its numbers are out of date within weeks.
A live media kit reads those numbers from Instagram every time a brand opens it. Proof of ROI, recent performance, your feed and your audience breakdown are filled in automatically. The parts only you can write, such as your headline, your sponsorship packages and the brands you have worked with, are the only manual fields.
How to make an Instagram media kit with knit.bio
Connect Instagram
Connect a Business or Creator account with Meta login. Your stats, recent posts and audience breakdown then fill the kit with no manual entry.
Write the parts only you can
Add a headline, niche, location and intro line, then your sponsorship packages: a name, description, price, and an optional tag such as “Most booked” or “Best value”, plus lead time and weekdays-only availability. Add the brands you have worked with and a testimonial quote.
Pick a look
Choose a theme (or your own accent colour), a font pairing and a layout template. Every change updates a live preview instantly.
Publish and share the link
Your kit lives at knit.bio/mediakit/yourhandle. Put the link in your bio or send it in reply to sponsorship DMs. On Pro and Max, brands can also pick a package and an open date and send a booking request.
What is on the media kit
Proof of ROI and recent performance
Live figures from your connected Instagram, so a brand sees what your content actually did rather than a screenshot from three months ago.
Audience breakdown
Who is watching, from Instagram’s own audience data (demographics appear once Instagram shares them, at roughly 100 or more followers).
Sponsorship packages you set
Your packages and your prices. knit.bio does not invent a market average for what you should charge; the rate card is one you author yourself.
Booking requests (Pro and Max)
Visitors pick a package and an open date from a calendar that respects your lead time and greys out dates already booked. No payment is taken at request time: the request lands in your Deal Desk pipeline for you to confirm.
A PDF download (Pro and Max)
Brands can save an offline copy of your kit to share with their team.
Optional link-click proof
Off by default. Turn it on to show verified link clicks from your knit.bio page as secondary proof, tagging sponsored links with a UTM campaign. Included with Pro and Max.
A reply that sends it for you
The Money Inbox brand-deal auto-reply (Pro and Max) sends your media kit link the first time a brand writes, so they see your audience and rates while you sleep. See the Instagram DM inbox.
What each plan includes
Read from the same table as the pricing page, so the two always agree.

Limits and what it can’t do
Knowing the edges is part of choosing a tool. Several of these are Instagram’s rules, not ours.
- The figures come from Instagram’s official API, so a Business or Creator account is required, and audience demographics only appear once Instagram shares them.
- Free and Starter kits carry a small knit.bio badge and skip the booking calendar, the PDF and link-click proof.
- A booking request is not a payment. Nothing is charged when a brand requests a slot; you confirm it from Deal Desk and send a payment link yourself.
- The public media kit page is set to noindex so it does not appear in search results. It is a link to share with brands, not a page that ranks.
- Booking requests become deals in your pipeline, which holds 5 active deals on Free and 25 on Starter.
Frequently asked questions
What should an Instagram media kit include?
Who you are and what you make, your audience (age, gender, location), reach and engagement, your best recent content, what you offer and charge, brands you have worked with, and how to book you. knit.bio fills in the numeric parts from Instagram automatically. See how to build an Instagram media kit that gets you booked.
Is the media kit generator free?
Yes. Designing and publishing a media kit is free on every plan. Free and Starter kits carry a small knit.bio badge. Pro and Max remove it and add booking requests, the PDF download and link-click proof.
Does the media kit update itself?
Yes. Proof of ROI, recent performance, your feed and your audience breakdown are pulled live from your connected Instagram account, so a brand sees current numbers rather than a screenshot. The fields you write yourself (headline, packages, brands worked with) change only when you edit them.
How do brands book me from the media kit?
On Pro and Max, the public kit ends with a “Book a slot” section. The brand picks one of your packages and an open date and submits a request. It lands in your Deal Desk pipeline, where you confirm or decline it and send a payment link. Nothing is charged at request time.
Can I send my media kit as a PDF?
On Pro and Max, yes: a Download PDF button on the public page lets brands save an offline copy. On Free and Starter, share the link instead.
How much should I put as my rate?
Set your own price per deliverable. knit.bio’s rate card is one you author, not an invented market average, and a media kit works best with a small number of clear packages. See how much to charge for a sponsored Instagram post and how to build a rate card.
