Google Analytics 4
Track visitors, traffic sources, and engagement on your public page.
How it works
Your Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX) is saved to the page and injected as the official gtag.js snippet on every visit to your public page.
It initializes dataLayer and fires a config call, so standard GA4 page-view and engagement data flows to your property automatically. The ID is validated when you save it and again right before it is rendered. An invalid value is never injected.
How it flows
Set it up
- 1
Open your GA4 web stream
In Google Analytics, go to Admin → Data streams and open your website stream.
analytics.google.com - 2
Copy the Measurement ID
It starts with G- (for example, G-ABCD1234).
- 3
Paste and save
In Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics, paste the ID, click Save, and keep "Auto-inject on public page" on.

Tips to get the most out of it
- Build a funnel from traffic source → page view → outbound link click to see which channels actually convert, then double down on the winners.
- Watch engagement time; a low number usually means your top links are buried, reorder them.
- Create GA4 Audiences (e.g. "clicked my store link") and export them to Google Ads for retargeting.
