How it works

Connect Instagram and the bell starts reporting what it is doing for you: a brand that wrote in, a post that went live, a broadcast that finished, a connection that needs attention. Each one opens the exact page where you act on it.

They are deliberately few. Nothing fires per comment or per DM, and every one is sent once: a repeat, a retry or a dismissed entry never brings the same alert back. Where a page is part of a paid plan (Signals, Superfans) the bell tells you how many, never what.

    Alerts: things that need you

Your Instagram connection lost or about to expire (reconnect before Auto-DMs, Comment Shield and scheduled posts stop), a reply that did not reach a brand, a scheduled post that did not go out or is waiting on a brand’s approval, a broadcast that could not send, and a burst of spam Comment Shield is catching.

    Revenue: money on the table

A brand deal landing in your Money inbox with the offer already read (deliverables, budget, deadline), a nudge if one has waited a day, a post that turned into orders, and a sale that came from an Instagram DM.

    Wins: worth a look

Your first automation firing, a scheduled post going live, a Trial Reel that beat your median (with what to do next), an A/B test that has finished, and follower milestones like 1,000 and 10,000.

    Signals: what your audience wants

A question people keep asking, or something they want that nothing in your store or links answers. The notification counts them; Signals shows you what they are.

    Your week, once a week

One summary per Instagram account: DMs sent, leads captured, brand inquiries, new superfans, comments hidden and sales from DMs. A quiet week is skipped rather than reported as a list of zeros.

Tips to get the most out of it

  • A brand inquiry notification is the moment to reply. Brands often move on within a day or two, which is why an unanswered one gets a single nudge.
  • If you answered a brand from the Instagram app itself, mark it replied in the Money inbox so the nudge does not fire.
  • When a Trial Reel beats your median the notification carries the advice. The decision to share it with everyone is made on Instagram, so acting within the day matters.
