How it works

Your API key is validated against the Mailchimp API and stored encrypted.

When a visitor submits an email-capture block, knit.bio subscribes them to the Audience you specify, splitting the name into first/last and tagging the source.

Set it up

  1. 1

    Create an API key

    In Mailchimp → Account → Extras → API keys, generate a key.

    Find your Audience ID

    Under Audience → Settings → Audience name and defaults, copy the Audience ID.

  3. 3

    Connect

    In Settings → Integrations → Mailchimp, paste the key to connect, then enter the Audience ID and save.
