Disconnecting, deleting and what is kept

Disconnect (Settings → Instagram) stops every automation and scheduled post but deletes nothing. Your automations, scheduled posts, contacts and moderation rules are kept exactly as they are, and reconnecting the same account restores them.

Delete all data permanently erases the connected account and everything tied to it: its access token, automations, scheduled posts, contacts and moderation rules. It cannot be undone. It also clears the places an ordinary delete cannot reach: raw deliveries from Instagram, files you uploaded for scheduling, the Instagram insights cached on Deal Desk deliverables, and the person and post details on orders that came from a DM (the sale itself is kept). What you typed yourself, such as your media kit and the booking requests brands submitted, is not Instagram data and stays.

To remove one person, delete the lead on the Instagram tab of Submissions. That erases the person, not just a row: their email and phone, saved messages, inbox thread and engagement history. Their place on the Unsubscribed list is deliberately kept, so “never email me again” survives an erase.

Messages and comments are not kept forever. They are removed on a fixed schedule (30 to 180 days depending on the record), or immediately when you delete a contact or erase the account. The privacy policy lists the exact periods.

AI features are optional and have their own switches where you set them up. The AI steps in Comment Concierge are off by default because they send comment text to the AI provider, and everything else in the suite works without any AI.
